Today we drove up to the north coast of the south island. I guess we were up pretty early to get this shot of the sun rising over the hills in the distance.
It was pretty foggy driving alongside this river valley.
The hill looked like it had a mohawk haircut.
At the park we decided to do a hike along the coast.
Beautiful scenery. That is the north island across the water in the background.
Needless to say we turned around at this point. It was pretty hot.
Lynn went down to play in the waves by the campground.
